Rapids了。到底这个'大快'市是个什么样的地方呢？从SFO到Chicago的航班就有点儿奇怪，10：45的飞机，居然没有午餐，上了飞机照例塞上耳塞，没想到，一个盹儿打下来，醒来的时候已经进12点了，没看见空服员收餐盒儿，想必还没送饭，可直等到1点半，终于忍不住了，等空姐儿送水的时候，故作没事儿似地问道："这班飞机没有午餐吗?",小姐(其实是老姐)笑着说:没有午餐，可以订餐盒，可是时间已经过了"，这是我在美国国内第一次这么长的班机没有送饭的，难道这么多人都知道吗？都饿着？不可思议。拿了个第8排的座位，Seating Lake去游泳，我极力推荐他们把自行车带上，到那儿去骑车，大家都很兴奋，一下子借了3辆大人的自行车，2辆小孩儿的自行车。可接下来问题来了，怎么把5个大人，5个小孩儿，5辆自行车挤进两辆厢型车呢？我们在第一辆车上安排了H一家两个大人和两个小孩儿，最后一排座椅翻起来，放自行车和其他露营的东西，想折叠椅，风筝，食物等等。好在两辆大人的车有Quick Release，按车的大小排序， 把两辆大人的车的前轮摘掉，一次放进2、3号大人车，和小孩的车。刚好，还能放不少物件。我的自行车最大，后面一排不够宽，怎么办？哈哈，同样的道理，卸下前轮以后，居然刚好可以挤进第二排，小朋友们的脚也刚好有地方放。  </summary><link rel='replies' type='application/atom+xml' type='text'>两周年的纪念</title><summary type='text'>从2004年开始骑车运动来，其实也是经过了各种的挣扎，刚骑的第一个星期，也是在五月，就因车速太快，拐弯的时候，操控不住，整个人斜冲出去，胳膊肘的伤现在还在。从那以后，不仅越骑越熟练，路况也熟了，加上有了同伴，虽说危险也是有发生，但感谢主，每次都奇迹般的躲过了，有一次为了躲一个坑， 把前把用力地提起，可落地的时候，前轮和后轮脱离了轨迹，前把重重地晃了几下，居然奇迹般地稳住了。没想到两周年的昨天，竟然经历的另一次危险，而且这一次可没那么好的运气。25kph的速度为了要躲开汽车，大概是卡到马路上的一个缝，前胎‘啪’的一声爆了，后面的事我就什么也不知道了。事后看了看我的头盔，和运动衣，当然还有背上、腿上的伤，想想也真的是后怕，应当是我整个连人带车飞了起来，后脑和后背着地，然后冲出去的，后面还有那辆我要躲而又不肯让给我的汽车，我想神大概还有给我的任务没完成吧，再留我纪念。其实这条路本来就有些危险，</summary><link type='text'>一晃儿29天过去了，12年来的第一次北京之旅已经到了最后一天，不觉有些感伤。都说是还回来呢，可能回来工作了，可心中一丝不定还是让我觉得像是一杯浓香的咖啡喝到了底儿，看到杯底那薄薄一层淡淡的棕色，心里犹豫这是该把杯子倒过来一分钟让那明知滴不尽的液体再滴一回儿呢，还是就此罢休，把那淡淡的香气留到永远。毕竟上一次的那杯咖啡是12年前，又是那么苦涩。十二年的断层使我有着一个近乎奇怪的角度，美好的记忆停留在12年以前，别人看不准谁胖了瘦了的，我的记忆就成了特殊的标尺；去理发馆理板寸，师傅迂回着问我：“您是这院儿里的吗?” type='text'>我的生日礼物</title><summary type='text'>这次回国的一个重头戏就是和小同同一起过生日，十二年前，当她在我的生日这天来到这个世界时，我这个舅舅正在准备那个改变我人生道路的挑战， 这次特意挑了这个时间段来弥补这个不大不小的遗憾。可是在没有想到，在生日的这一天，给我印象最深的‘生日礼物’却是这么一个意想不到的事件：先看一些北京的自行车吧，似乎与十二年前没什么变化，只是发现现在的车比以前更脏，更差，原先还以为是因为沙尘暴，把每个人的车都弄得灰头土脸的，也是，连汽车都要经受‘下土’的折磨，自行车就更不用说了。早上把在南门存车处存了九天没骑的自行车取出来，骑到五道口，因为有点急，没有发现站口旁边的存车处，就把车用两道锁锁了起来，停到了五道口城铁车站出口。没想到，等到晚上回来的时候，那辆我姐家最好的自行车却以不翼而飞。第二天和朋友聊起这事时，朋友都说，在北京，没丢过车的不能算北京人。</summary><link type='text'>来到北京的第一感受就是到处在施工，整天热火朝天，尘土飞扬，甭管多高级漂亮的小区，外面都是一大群工人在挖土，砌墙，铺线。想起若干年前的一个出租司机说的：人家英文就是科学，人早就预见了咱中国的未来，中国不就叫China吗？不就是‘拆呢’吗？想了想，看了看，我觉得那还不够有远见，如果真有远见的话，现在就该叫Wana and Gaina （挖呢 type='text'>回姐姐家的路上，进了清华外面的一个小超市，里面的柜台基本是租赁给外地人的，看书的当儿，听到了这样一段对话（我估计是河北一带口音）“俺那天吃了一碗刀削面，那叫个难吃”“哪里？北京吗？”“对，可不是北京嘛？很难吃，跟俺以前在陕西吃的，根本不是一个味儿”“你啥时候去的陕西？”“俺念过书，俺的同学现在各地方都有，俺就去过很多地方”“那陕西的刀削面可好吃？”“那还用说，吃过那儿的面，那北京的面简直就没法吃”“北京的不好吃哈?”“不是不好吃，简直没法吃，面也不对，味儿也不对，那个山西的面，很有嚼头，不像这里的面，软趴趴的……”………………如此这般，两位小姐又交流了半天有关面的问题，我想了想，到嘴边的话又咽了回去，真想说：小姐们呀，你们就知足吧，我非这么老远不就是为点正宗的中餐吗？到了北京愣让告诉咱这儿的面不正宗，那你让在Indiana州的同胞们怎么活呢？</summary><link type='text'>经过十二个小时的飞行，UA889终于平安到了北京，在飞机上一直等着机会能拍从空中的对北京的第一印象，可直到彻底降落了，才第一次意识到，已经到了。不是咱眼神儿不好，是沙尘暴。一直看到的都是雾蒙蒙的一片。唉，波折了一番，还是决定去乘机场大巴。第一站望京，还没到，大巴还在等红灯左转的时候，前排的一位同胞急匆匆地站了起来，认真地问司机：能在这开一下门，让我下吗？   我的天，我们在两条左转道的左边一条，右边还有两条直行车道的车在跑着，在过去是起码一个连的自行车，人老兄居然要在这儿下车？就算让他下了车，他往哪儿走啊？你说他怎么想的？这是我第二次意识到：北京，到了。我真不知道我要是大巴司机的话，我要怎么做？这时咱才学到了惟有北京大巴司机才有的风采，人家的反应是：没理他。这是我第三次意识到：北京，到了。</summary><link rel='replies' Breakfast consists of a selection of 3-4 fruits, 3-4 types of cereals, 3 different yogarts, milk, orange juice, my favorite grapefruit juice, and sometimes watermelon juice, then lots of typical Mexican food, nachos, scambled eggs, breads, of course.
